VIDEO - My Barack Obama Handshake
UPDATE!! 10-04-2008: MY VIDEO WILL APPEAR ON CNN! This morning I received a phone call from CNN that my video, also submitted to their iReport website, would be picked up for on-air use. First, Philadelphia City Paper.. now CNN. This has been a big week for me!
October 3rd, 2008 (Abington, PA) - Barack Obama, while campaigning in the Abington suburb of Philadelphia, shook MY hand. A wonderful experience. Here’s the video
In the video, you can hear the Secret Service agent talking to me. First telling me to move my camera behind me because it was hanging over the railing and Barack Obama, speaking directly to me calling me, “Sir.” Better photos from my Canon DSLR to come.
Recorded with a jailbroken, 16GB Apple iPhone 3G (white)

My ‘City Paper’ Feature
My photograph “Michelle and the Mayor” from the South-West Philly Barack Obama rally was featured on page 5 of the Oct. 2nd Philadelphia City Paper. CITY PAPER editor Brian Howard got in touch with me through FLICKR to make sure it was ok to use and how I would like to be credited. Really awesome of him and I’m thrilled, as you can probably tell!
Brigantine
For Labor Day weekend, myself and some friends crashed at a lovely home a block from the beach on the northern crest of Brigantine, NJ. I had a wonderful time. It was my first time to the island. I spent most of my childhood summers into my teenage years at our family house in Ocean City, NJ. Brigantine, to me, is most like Ocean City than any other spot on the NJ coast. I’ve been to Wildwood twice this summer already, so a quiet respite in Brigantine was much deserved. Here are some choice photos I got while there:

Famous Fingers
Hah… a photo I took when I first got my 1st Gen iPhone made its way onto another technology blog recently. My gnarled hands are in beautiful contrast to my pristine, jailbroken iPhone, in this particular shot, LOL.
More than anything though, I’m proud and amazed that so many people choose to use my photos, and this one in particular, over and over again to accent their blog posts.
