Philadelphia recently got a dubious shout-out in the fake news, Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Monday night. Correspondent Rob Riggle reports on the Bush Administration’s “progress” post-9/11. Towards the end, Rob Riggle drops a reference to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s increasing violence. Watch the first one, first, obviously. Just watched Michael Moore’s new movie Sicko. By far one of the most enthralling documentary movies I’ve seen lately (and I watch a lot – the last being Cocaine Cowboys, also recommended). The topics Moore delves into: the notion of democracy home and abroad, poverty, despair and politics are seamlessly integrated.
