Regarding my MySpace account
Apparently someone got into my MySpace account and used it to send spam messages. I just talked to MySpace tech support and they said my account has been suspended by their automated system because of (spam-abuse reports) and that I could reinstate the account in the coming weeks. Until then, contact me here or on Facebook (which I prefer anyway, no spammers, no bands, just people I know).

Schmap: Philadelphia Photo Short-list
From: Luke Ritchie, Managing Editor, Schmap Guides
Hi Vincent,
I am writing to let you know that one of your photos has been short-listed for inclusion in the third edition of our Schmap Philadelphia Guide, to be published early in August.
While we offer no payment for publication, many photographers are pleased to submit their photos, as Schmap Guides give their work recognition and wide exposure, and are free of charge to readers. Photos are published at a maximum width of 150 pixels, are clearly attributed, and link to high-resolution originals at Flickr.
Wow! So once again, FLICKR - the photo sharing website that hosts my photography has once again given me exposure to a wider audience. Once before, I had an image plucked from my photostream on Flickr used on the community driven, social-news website NowPublic. And here is my contribution as part of a news story on the immigration rally in Philadelphia, PA.
Remembering: R. Kelly’s “Trapped in the Closet”
I’m sorry to be bringing this up, but apparently I have friends at work who aren’t familiar with this sensational era of pop-culture past. Long story short: R.”I’m gonna piss on you” Kelly, created a made-for-music-television 12 part series called “Trapped in the Closet” Each part was released individually and as small sets to radio stations and music video channels then released on DVD.
You have to see it to believe it, and once you have, you’ll be a better person for it, trust!

Two Great “Daily Show” Clips
Philadelphia recently got a dubious shout-out in the fake news, Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Monday night. Correspondent Rob Riggle reports on the Bush Administration’s “progress” post-9/11. Towards the end, Rob Riggle drops a reference to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s increasing violence. Watch the first one, first, obviously. It’s a good setup for the second video, with the Philadelphia reference.
