So, I’m Car Shopping

Long story short, I have to buy a new car. I think I’m going the certified pre-owned route. Buying straight out, no leasing (that shit is for chumps, y0!). This is what I’m getting away from. And here is what I’m looking at. You can sort of see where my priorities lie and what I’m generally looking for:

2003-4 Jaguar X-Type AWD (Seen listed on eBay for $13k)
2004 Honda Accord EX 3.0L 24V (listed on eBay for $15k)
2001 Audi A6 Quattro 4.2 AWD (listed on eBay for $18k)
2003 Audi A6 Quattro 3.0 AWD (listed on eBay for $15k)
2004 Volkswagen Passat GLS 4MOTION (listed on eBay for $18k)
2006-7 Scion tC (listed on eBay for $17k)
2002 Lexus IS300 (listed on eBay for $15k)
2004 Infinity G35 (listed on eBay for ($17-20k)
2003 Volvo S60 2.5T (listed on eBay for ($19k)
2005-6 Nissan Altima SE-R 3.5L

    Vince! Long time no talk/im/email.

Might I suggest you check out the 2001 Audi S4 as well. I see you’ve got the A6 up there, and I believe the 2001 S4 is in the same price range as everything else you’re looking at.

A friend of mine has this car, and I’ve driven it numerous times. What I can tell you is that it’s like no other sedan I’ve ever been in. Solid as a rock, great handling, AWD, and a bi-turbo engine that has the pickup of a sports car.

If I were to buy a car right now (which I’m not, since I live in Boston), it’d be either a 2001 S4 or a new Mini Cooper S.

Thanks for the comment Pat, and yea, it’s been too long since we’ve last spoken. I’m definitely going to visit Boston *SOON*

After you mentioned the S4 I began looking on eBay and I like the prices I’m seeing. Next time you see me, maybe I’ll be pushing one. I’ll be in touch once my internet is acting right… fucking Verizon!!! :(
