50 Gmail Invites
In what appears to be a dramatic move to garner even MORE users than they currently have, Google.com, owners of the Gmail free, webmail service have given all of their current users (beta testers), 50 invitations to give to friends, family and perfect strangers.
“Gmail is a free, search-based webmail service that includes 1,000 megabytes (1 gigabyte) of storage. The backbone of Gmail is a powerful Google search engine that quickly finds any message an account owner has ever sent or received. That means there’s no need to file messages in order to find them again.
When Gmail displays an email, it automatically shows all the replies to that email as well, so users can view a message in the context of a conversation. There are no pop-ups or untargeted banner ads in Gmail, which places relevant text ads and links to related web pages adjacent to email messages.”
I recommend Gmail to anyone that needs an email address that’s versatile and quick to access. Nothing beats free stuff, and this is free, so, yeah. If you would like to be invited to the Gmail beta test, simply comment on this entry or send me an email including your email address and first/last name so I can sign you up. [50 invites left]
Caller-ID Spoofing Made Easy

Ok, I was at Kevin’s website earlier today and he linked to this website service that allows you to spoof your call location on the recipients Caller-ID box or display on their phones handset. It’s called CovertCall and it works well. I signed up just now and did a test and it’s pretty fun to play with. I wish I had a more practical use for it, but it’s still fun as hell to use on your friends.
In other news, I got bored and made a short video clip and took pictures of my dinner (here)
Update: I’ve been trying to take pictures of the LCD readout from my phone, but it’s not coming out good. This is great though. I called my other line to test it out and it said
“000-000-0000
Unknown Name“
I’m going to have fun with this [CovertCall]
