I have Gmail invites

Ok friends, here’s the deal. I have [6] Gmail invites and I want to bless my friends with free email accounts. I know most people who have Gmail invites are selling them or making people do ridiculous things to get them. I have a more fundamental way to decide who I give invites to.

You post a comment here, or email me (visualsense@gmail.com) with your request for a Gmail invite.
Include with your request a reason why you want or need a Gmail account
I need your First and Last name as well as your current email address so I can send the invite to the right person
No payment necessary, just check out the links in the right column

What is Gmail?
Gmail is a free webmail service from Google, the people who do the search engine. Like Hotmail, but better.

Why would I want Gmail?are lots of reasons. Gmail has a clean, easy interface, without any annoying banner ads. Gmail blocks spam. And gmail offers you 1 gigabyte of space for your emails: you’ll never have to delete a message again.

Can I sign up for Gmail? a straightforward way. Google’s still smoothing out the kinks, and isn’t letting everyone register. The only way to get an account is to be invited by a Google employee, by certain current Gmail subscribers (me), or by certain “active” users of Blogger.

Why the rush?ts of people, there’s no rush; they’re happy with their email service. Some of us, however, are over-eager for Gmail’s ease and elegance. Furthermore, we want to snag a good email address before the barbarians make it through the gates. Why settle for ugly_name@gmail.com when you could sneak in early and nab yourname@gmail.com?

I’d love to fulfill your request, however, Gmail has not granted me any more invites for a couple days, and I’m currently out of them. If they do, I’ll see what I can do to hook you up.
